VIDEO: EVOM™ AutoLCI - Configuring IP Settings

WPI's EVOM™ AutoLCI is an automated live cell imaging system that is equipped with an advanced fluorescence and bright field microscopy, autofocusing and real time multi-position imaging technology. It provides you all the tools you need to acquire the best quality images and accurate research results. Various cell-based research work and applications can be done with this all-around system.

Here we show you how to configure your IP Settings to use the EVOM™ AutoLCI.

Installation (Network)

  1. Click the "Start" button on the Windows screen.
  2. Click the "Settings" button.
  3. Click the "Network & Internet" button on the "Settings" page.
  4. Click the "Ethernet" button.
  5. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
  6. Click "Change adapter settings" on the left side of the menu.
  7. Select "Ethernet."
  8. Right mouse click and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
  9. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and click "Properties."
  10. Select "Use the following IP address."
  11. Fill out the IP address and Subnet mask. The IP address sould be 192.168.2.##, where ## is a value between 2 and 254, but not 10.
  12. Click OK to finish the configuration.
