Crile Wood needle holders are widely used in medical procedures. Named after Dr. George Crile, Sr. of the Cleveland Clinic and English ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Richard Wood who invented them, the Crile Wood needle holders are a standard surgical instrument for delicate surgeries. They are designed with a ratcheted locking mechanism, allowing surgeons to securely grasp and hold needles in place while suturing. The ratchet mechanism lets you securely locking the instrument in a closed position to firmly grip the needle, providing stability and control during suturing. The tips and jaws of Crile Wood needle holders are delicate and finely serrated, designed for a firm grasp without damaging the needle. These needle holders are 15 cm (6”) long, and the tips are straight. These are made of surgical grade stainless steel, suitable for autoclaving and other sterilization methods. This is a package of 12 instruments that are student grade instruments. These are perfect for disposable applications.
