Stimulators, Stimulus Isolators,
Precision Current Sources
WPI's battery-operated, optically isolated, stimulating constant-current generators provide current that is independent of load resistance. With the exception of the A395 linear isolator-current generator, all of these devices are activated by externally applied voltages of approximately 5 volts. Usually these originate from computer commanded I/O lines or from stimulator pulsers such as WPI's A310 "Accupulser" and A300 "Pulse Master". Again, with the exception of model A395, current amplitudes are manually adjusted by the user on the instrument's front panel. Current outputs can be easily converted to precise voltages by use of precision shunt resistors (WPI part #DRL).
