* The video field of view noted is based on a 1/2" (8 mm diagonal) CCD camera and a 0.5X camera adapter.
For a wide video field, add the 0.5x objective and 20X eyepieces.
The magnification factor at a 1X zoom with a 1.0X objective and 10X eyepieces yields a 10X magnification with an observable field from 34 to 5 mm. The video field of view is 16 to 4.7 mm.  Shown is an image simulating an eyepiece view and a normal video view of 18 mm from a COLCAM-NTSC and a 0.5X coupler. With the Wide Field Video Option, the magnification factor at a 1X zoom with a 0.5X objective and 20X eyepieces still yields a 10X magnification with an observable field from 42 to 6.2 mm, however the phototube viewing field is increased by a factor of 2 (0.5X), resulting in a wide 38 mm video field of view. Shown in Fig. 3 is the COLCAM-NTSC captured image with an added 0.5X objective.
