UNIVERSAL MICROMANIPULATOR STAND
Ideal for Patch Clamp Recording & Optical Work Bench Measurements
Two new types of UNIVERSAL MICROMANIPULATOR STANDS enables scientists to mount their manual and motorized micromanipulators at variable angles and heights as desired. This stand consists of a solid platform of aluminum with a grooved tower that allows the user to attach any micromanipulator of any size or shape to the post for infinite flexibility. Once mounted, the micromanipulator can be adjusted to any set height along the entire length (30 cm or 45 cm). The platform base, comes configured with industry standard pre-bored holes (20 x 1" or M6 x 25 mm) that allows direct mounting to any Anti-Vibration Table (for Patch Clamp recordings) or Optical Work Bench (for Laser and Optical Measurements).

Using additional Rotation Clamps (one included with stand), two or more micromanipulators can be mounted on the stand simultaneously in a space-saving convenient manner. WPI’s Universal Stand not only allows the user 360o flexibility in manipulations but also promotes independent angular transitions using a single feather-light tensioner/adjustment screw. This affordable stand is currently the preferred choice in micromanipulator stands and is head and shoulders above other traditional set-ups using multiple magnetic-based stands costing hundreds more when combined with the antiquated heavy steel base plates.
