WPI offers a range of reference electrodes based on Ag/AgCl chemistry in both dry and liquid junction formats for many bio-applications. We also offer a range of metal microelectrodes in tungsten, stainless steel, iridium, and platinum/iridium alloy that are used in recording extracellular biopotentials and stimulation.

Reference Electrodes

New, improved sintered pellets with lower resistance and high strength. Stable and well balanced in the presence of current, these small and inexpensive Ag/AgCl half-cells are as easy to work with as bath electrodes.

Metal Electrodes

Superior microelectrodes for outstanding extracellular recording - available in tungsten, iridium, platinum-iridium, and Elgiloy. For basic information on these metal electrodes:

Surface Electrodes

High quality Ag/AgCl reusable surface-mounted electrodes designed to be used for the acquisition of all biopotentials. Also available are disposable snap adhesive electrodes.
