Cell and Tissue
Measure trans epithelial electric resistance using our EVOM epithelial
voltohmmeter. Also available for tissue research are tissue bath
systems, using chambers, perfusion systems, vibrating tissue slicers,
and glass bottom sterile culture dishes.
Biaxial Tissue Analysis
Accurately measure the tensile mechanical
properties of soft natural tissues and biomaterials.

Cell Manipulation
Using dielectrophoresis (DEP), you can now select only the viable cells. Use this system for Hybridoma.

Myobath Tissue Bath
For more than 100 years pharmacologists and physiologists have been
studying cardiac and smooth muscle in tissue baths. WPI’s multi-channel
isolated tissue bath system was developed over a period of several
years in collaboration with top cardiovascular research scientists. The
result is a feature packed, cost-effective system for the in vitro
study of vascular and non-vascular smooth muscle. Tissue holders are
also available for cardiac muscle and other tissue preparations.
|
Perfusion System
WPI's programmable 8-channel perfusion system was designed for single
channel and whole-cell patch preparations. It offers the best
combination of performance and value.

TEER Measurement
During the last two decades TEER measurements have become universally
established as the most convenient, reliable and non-destructive method
to evaluate and monitor the growth of epithelial tissue cultures in
vitro. The confluence of the cellular monolayer is quickly determined
by a sharp increase in TEER. TEER measurement technology, which was
first introduced by WPI in the mid-1980's, has since been perfected and
expanded to include a range of TEER related manual and automatic
instrumentation.

Tissue Slicers
Choose from manual, motorized, or programmable microtomes to prepare
live tissue sections for physiological, pharmacological and biochemical
research.
|
Ussing System
The Ussing system offers reseachers a quick, effective means of making
low-resistance electrical connections to the Ussing chamber without the
need of long agar bridges or Calomel half-cells.
